Dark Fantasy

The inspiration for my collection Dark Fantasy comes from the curves of a woman’s body; the goal is representing a healthy body image for all women regardless of size. Throughout my years of college, I struggled with my own body image. But fashion allowed me to address this issue in a physical medium, creating beauty and body positivity both outside and within.

The collection Dark Fantasy is the culmination of this journey. Black with a hint of gold, Dark Fantasy revels in seductiveness and celebrates the female form. The collection consists of bodysuits, a romper, and dresses made from a variation of different fabrics including lace, stretch knits, and houndstooth jacquard. These looks accentuate the women’s curves, a visual essay on confidence and the power of femininity.
